Cherry Blossoms aka Sakura in Osaka

As salam. It's spring now and people in Japan have been looking forward to this season. It's not that cold as compared to winter and it's not as warm as summer.

Cherry blossoms bloom during spring and it is the most awaited time here. Sakura will bloom within 10 days and after that it will fall to the ground.

We couldn't visit Osaka Castle since it rained the whole weekend.  I've read that there are variety of sakura species planted at Osaka Castle. It would be great to be able to see them. There are actually many places & parks to view the cherry blossoms. But if you want to see the rare species, head to parks like Osaka Castle, Expo'70 Commemorative Park, Kema Sakuranomiya Park, Osaka Mint Bureau & Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park. These places are all easily be accessed by trains or subways. This link is pretty useful if you're planning to view sakura in Osaka.

I captured some pictures of sakura around my place. Subhanallah, the beauty is beyond speech. Well, just enjoy the view peeps!
